Reading the Bible enables us to get to know God, Jesus and Holy Spirit thereby empowering our Faith. The Bible is Gods fulfillment to never leave us or forsake us. Bible knowledge grows the roots of our faith deep to stand firm in the winds of opposition. When winds of adversity blow there is a scripture to stand against opposition. Prayer gives voice to our faith and it gives confidence that what is hoped for will actually happen; it gives assurance about things which cannot be seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
God speaks to all faithful believers through His Word the Bible. We are instructed to hold all thoughts captive under the authority of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) All actions begin with a thought that we can accept or reject. We are bombarded media from two sources good and evil in some hidden ways. To judge wisely between good and evil we need to know God through the His Word, supernaturally inspired and recorded in the Bible. We learn to know the thoughts from above by knowing - "My sheep (believers) hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me". (John 10:27)
"I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life". (Deuteronomy 30:19) Throughout all time God has provided two trees. Using our "Free Will" we choose the Tree of Life or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2.9) We were created to receive God's Love and to freely choose to Love God. Two trees enable choice and choice enables God to reward the right choices and wrong choices opening us up to the possibility of the curses of this world. God is good all the time and but He allows evil to exist and there is a reason explained in a couple of videos see Christianity page. Fortunately, we have been given a Spiritual councilor - Holy Spirit. Jesus speaking in (John 14: 23 -27) “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
